Our absence management support provides professional opinion and guidance about employees’ sickness absence; whether the absence is repeated, short or long term.  Referrals are managed by our team of occupational health advisors and physicians.


In 2014 employees across all sectors took an average of 66 days off ill each year (www.cipd.co.uk/absencemanagementsurvey).  The annual survey found that average absence levels are highest in the public services and non-profit sectors and lowest in the private services sector. Absence levels also tend to increase with organisation size, regardless of sector.
